Programs

Dieu’s Crew

Madieu Williams Foundation started Dieu’s crew in 2008.  The goal for program is to build up a very successful and educational Life Skills Program in North Minneapolis.  The program will start with 20 eighth grade students and follow them through high school, while starting another group of eighth grade students once the first group graduates to ninth grade (and so on).  Through the program, Madieu hopes to teach kids various life skills including, college preparation, leadership skills, peer pressure, community service, healthy lifestyles, staying active and many other topics to help them through life.

Incentive Program

Madieu Williams foundation started an incentive program at the Avondale Boys and Girls Club in Cincinnati and now that he has become a Viking he is bringing that program to the North Minneapolis YMCA.  The programs focus on rewarding children as they make positive decisions while at home, in school or at the after school program.  Through this program kids are chosen, receive a special t-shirt, and attend Bengals’ home games.  Ten kids are selected for each home game.

Playground Build

Madieu Williams Foundation teamed up with Kaboom! this year and funded an entire playground in Cincinnati.  The build was Madieu’s final gift to the Cincinnati community which gave so much to him in the first four years of his NFL career.  The playground was built in hopes of encouraging kids to get out and be active.  The build took place in one day and was possible through the help of over 150 volunteers.

Free Football Clinics

Each summer the Madieu Williams Foundation hosts a free football clinic for over 300 kids.  This free clinic provides youth the opportunity to work on their football skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork skills, while building self-esteem both on and off the field.
