Madieu Williams teams up with his Alumni, University of Maryland for a free football clinic and health screening
On April 25th, 2009, the Madieu Williams Foundation joined with the University of Maryland School of Public Health to present a free football clinic for the local boys and girls on Maryland Day. Over 200 kids were able to work on their preparation and football skills, sportsmanship and teamwork to build self-esteem both on and off the football field. There were also health screenings available to the parents which included blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol checks thanks to the University of Maryland and John’s Hopkins. All the kids received a free t-shirt as well as other goodies provided by Chick-Fil-A, Under Armour, vitaminwater, Minnesota Vikings and Saval Foods. A special thanks to the NFL Youth Football Fund for their support of the football clinic.
