Madieu Williams Travels back to Sierra Leone to give back to his hometown and fund the building of the new Abigail D Butscher Primary School.

On March 27, 2009 Madieu  traveled back to his hometown of Freetown, Sierra Leon, for the ribbon cutting ceremony of the elementary school his foundation funded  in memory of his mother, Abigail D Butscher.  The school is located in Calaba Town, which is one of the poorest areas in Freetown.  This is the first school built for this area.  The school has four classrooms, running water and will be able to teach up to 170 students each year.  The Madieu Williams Foundation partnered with Schools for Salone in order to accomplish this huge dream of Madieu’s. A special thanks goes to the NFL Charities for their generous donation to make this all possible. For more information on how you can get involved in future school building projects in Sierra Leone, please contact the Madieu Williams Foundation.
