Madieu Williams Foundation 2007 Football Clinic - RECAP

On Saturday, May 19, more than 300 youth from the Cincinnati area had the opportunity to join Bengals' safety Madieu Williams for a free football clinic at South Avondale Field. This free clinic provided youth the opportunity to work on their football skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork skills, while building self-esteem both on and off the field. Each participant received a T-shirt, football and refreshments as well as had the opportunity to meet Madieu. Williams was also joined by teammates Herana-Daze Jones and Keiwan Ratliff and coaches Marvin Lewis and Kevin Coyle.

The Madieu Williams Foundation Football Clinic was sponsored by the Madieu Williams Foundation and Mercy Hospitals. During the clinics, Mercy Hospitals provided free health screenings for all parents at the U.S. Bank Boys & Girls Club.

Because his mother passed away from a stroke, Madieu understands first-hand the severity of minority health issues. The Madieu Williams Foundation focuses on health, wellness, nutrition, fitness and education. Through his foundation, Madieu reaches out to youth and teaches them at an early age the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
